The Governor’s Center for Local Government Services (GCLGS) trains local government officials through the PA Municipal Administration Training Center, which is a strategic and collaborative initiative with the Pennsylvania Municipal League (PML). The PA Municipal Administration Training Center provides valuable online and in-class training opportunities to enrich local government operations across the Commonwealth.
To improve the quality of governance within communities, municipal employees need ongoing professional training. PA MATC wanted to make their government training initiatives more accessible to busy municipal employees by offering courses that encouraged professional development in an online setting.
AdAbility’s creative team collaborated with Pennsylvania Municipal League to develop a brand identity that best communicated the organization’s mission and set them apart from other training programs. The brand identity represents PA MATC’s commitment to professional development for officials.
RESPONSIVE WEBSITE DESIGN
PA MATC serves municipalities across the Commonwealth of PA. AdAbility developed a responsive website that would not only function as a marketing tool, but also a resource for students enrolled in the courses. To accommodate the busy schedules of municipal officials, the school term only requires one in-person session. The rest of the courses can be completed online. The PA MATC website serves as a home base for students, allowing them to log into a password-protected area to view course rosters, watch prerecorded videos and engage in class discussions.
To help spread the word of PA MATC, AdAbility designed out an informative brochure to be distributed to prospective students and at statewide municipal conferences. The brochure included details about PA MATC and how to register for courses.
